Sony Mobile Believing 'Magic' Android Attract Indonesia

Jakarta - The acquisition of Sony in Sony Ericsson has been completed, and thevendor is now officially named Sony Mobile Communications. Sony Mobile alsoexpressed readiness to take part in the smartphone market Indonesia.

"We now have a full subsidiary of Sony Corporation. Indonesia become an attractive market for us and become one of the key countries to grow," says OlaLilja Molen, Head of SEA Sony Mobile Communications Markets in WismaPondok Indah, Tuesday (13/3/2012 ).

Indonesia's current smartphone market may be said to be very loud and full of topplayers. But Ola confident that the selected operating system Android Sony hasits own magic to captivate the market.

"Android Market grows in Indonesia and we are currently focusing on Android.We truly believe Android is a fast-growing operating system and platformselected consumers," said Ola.

In addition to relying on Android, Sony believes can compete by relying on thealready good brandnya name. Likewise handset Sony will bring the latest technology the typical Sony.

"Sony Mobile will be an important part of Sony's ecosystem consisting of fourtypes of screens. That tablet laptops, televisions and smartphones," said Ola.

Sony today introduced three Android handsets will soon be marketed inIndonesia. Namely  Xperia P, Xperia S and Xperia U.
